A UNESCO World Heritage site, Bordeaux captivates from the first step with the elegance of its 18th-century maritime facades and the majesty of its grand royal squares. A stroll along the Garonne quays will allow you to admire the unmissable Water Mirror opposite Place de la Bourse, an ideal spot to cool off and capture stunning photos of urban reflections.
Experience a unforgettable adventure of about an hour with Charentes Montgolfières, at At sunrise or sunset, from March to November. Fly over the Hills and valleys of South Charente, and admire the Villages, rivers and castles to scroll beneath your feet. A truly magical and memorable moment.
To prolong the experience, don't miss the Hot air balloon competition organised every two years in Mainfonds and Aubeville, about 45 km from the campsite.
The 24th European Hot Air Balloon Cup – Nouvelle Aquitaine Airshow will be held from 29 July to 2 August 2026, in Mainfonds (Val des vignes) and its surroundings. Four days of air show, hot air balloon competitions, entertainment and unforgettable moments to share with family or friends.
